Curbside Pickup and Delivery
When is curbside pickup available?Current curbside pickup hours are Tuesday through Saturday, 10am to 5pm. During online checkout you will be able to choose a pickup time. Please try to make your assigned pickup time. If you’re unable to arrive for your pickup before the shop closes at 5pm, your order will be ready for pickup the following day.
How does contact-free curbside pickup work?During online checkout you have the opportunity to choose your pickup time. When you arrive for your scheduled pickup, please call our store at 416-588-5959 with the name and confirmation number on the order confirmation you received via email to inform our staff you are ready for pickup. A table is stationed outside our cafe. Please stand back until your order is delivered to the table.
Can someone else pickup my order for me?Yes. The only thing we require for picking up orders is the name on the order and the corresponding order number. You will have received this information with your order confirmation and receipt via email. Please make sure the person picking up for you has this information handy to provide us when they arrive.
How quickly can I get my order?The preparation lead-time for most of our products is 2-business days. The lead-time for specialty cakes range from 1 to 2 weeks. Lead-times are denoted on the product descriptions that have longer than 2-business days.
Where is your shop?Our store is located at 1162 Queen Street West, Toronto, Ontario.
Do you have customer parking?There is paid street parking directly outside the shop on Queen Street West. Please make sure to read parking signs and only park during allowed times. We have applied with the City of Toronto for free parking during curbside pickup and are currently waiting for the permit to be posted. We’ll update this answer when they have posted the permit.
Do you deliver?Yes we do! For orders over $50 (before tax) we offer delivery within 12km of our location on Queen West. The delivery fee is $14 and is included at checkout when you choose the delivery option. Also, choose your delivery timing during checkout and include any additional details in the Notes section.
Do you deliver outside the GTA (Greater Toronto Area)?Yes we can. Please call our shop at (416) 588-5959 to discuss custom delivery pricing for your order.
Do you have shipping?We do! We offer Canada and USA shipping for a variety of our products online. Shipping is indicated based on the product chosen.
What is the cost of shipping?
- Canada: We charge a flat $20 shipping fee to cover packaging and shipping fees. For orders over $150 (before taxes) we offer free shipping within Canada.
- USA: We charge a flat CAD$45 shipping fee to cover packaging and shipping fees.
How long does shipping take?We require 2 business days to fulfill your order and send it off. We ship it priority which means you should get it within 1 business day from the time it has left our shop. Please note: if it leaves our shop on a Friday, it’s possible you may not receive it until the following Monday. Due to Covid however, shippers are not guaranteeing their priority shipping times so expect there might be a delay.
How do I make changes to an order I’ve already placed?We cannot guarantee that we can accommodate changes after an order is placed however, please reach out to us before your pickup time either via phone during our curbside pickup hours (Tues-Sat; 10am-5pm) or via our website. The sooner you contact us, the better your chances of having your needs met! We will do our absolute best to get back to you in a timely manner.
Do you accept returns, exchanges or refunds?Due to health and safety reasons we cannot accept returns or exchanges on any food products. This applies to both opened and unopened items and therefore no refunds.
How should I store my chocolate?If you are not eating your chocolate right away, make sure you store it in a cool, dark, and dry place such as a cupboard. Make sure you do not store it close to very aromatic items such as coffee, as the chocolate can absorb the scent. Do not store it in a refrigerator, as it is too humid for the chocolate.
How long will my chocolate last?We often hear our customers say ‘it looks too good to eat’ which we love, but why deprive yourself of that decadence?! It’s meant to be eaten. If stored properly, plain chocolate is good for up to two years. Chocolate with fruit added will be good for 6 months. We suggest eating truffles within one to two weeks of purchase.
Do you have diabetic chocolate?Yes, we have both a milk chocolate and dark chocolate bar available that are sweetened with the sugar alternative maltitol. We can make our fan favourite chocolate singles with the diabetic chocolate as a custom order, please Contact Us for inquiries.
Is your chocolate Fair Trade?Yes, fair trade, ethical, and sustainable products are very important for us. We use Callebaut chocolate which supports their farmers and communities in partnership with the Cocoa Horizons Foundations.
Cake and Cupcakes
What serving suggestions do you recommend for your cakes and cupcakes?Our cakes and cupcakes are best enjoyed at room temperature. Set them out at least 4-5 hours before serving to reach room temperature.
Do you make custom cakes?Yes we do! But the fun does not stop at cake, we can do custom desserts and chocolate too! The price for these vary so it’s good to have a budget in mind when contacting us. To inquire about a custom cake, or custom items in general please contact us here. Please keep in mind that custom items take time, make sure to book early to guarantee we can fulfill your order.
Can I get a Cake / Cupcakes delivered?Yes! Orders over $50 (before taxes) are eligible for delivery within 12km of our location on Queen West. Choose delivery at checkout and your preferred delivery time.
I have a Gluten allergy, can I get a Gluten Free Cake or cupcakes?Yes you can! There is an option to choose gluten-free under dietary requirements during product selection online. There is an added $5 for gluten-free cakes and cupcakes.
Do you have any Vegan cakes?Soon! We are working at perfecting our recipe for our Vegan cakes. We are taking the time to make sure our Vegan cakes taste just as delicious as our standard cakes and will not rest until we get it perfect. Subscribe to our newsletter or our social media pages where we will share the news when they are ready. Until then enjoy many of our dark chocolate treats, most of which are Vegan!
I need a custom cake by this weekend, is that possible?Unfortunately, no. Custom cakes have a minimum 4 week order lead-time. Please get your order in as early as possible to guarantee one in time for your event or occasion. Custom cake order requests can be made by contacting us here. If you are in a pinch, might we offer choosing one of our beautifully designed Bakery Cakes as an alternative. Their lead-time is 2-business days. We can personalize it with writing if needed. Plus, you can add our chocolate singles, chocolate dice, or other chocolate products to the cake to make it uniquely yours.
How long in advance should I order my cake?We offer a variety of cakes you can choose from or you can do custom. Listed below are the minimum amount of time, but this is subject to availability. We suggest ordering well in advance to guarantee we can do your cake or cupcakes. Cakes

- Signature Cakes: 2 weeks
- Surprise-Me Cakes: 2 weeks
- Custom Cake: 1-4 months (depending on complexity)
- Cafe Designed Cupcakes 6 or 12 pack: 2 days (excluding weekends)
- Medium Design Cupcakes 6 or 12 pack: 2 weeks
- Complex Detail Cupcakes 6 or 12 pack: 3 weeks
- Bulk cupcakes (over 12) – 1 month
